On March 27, Júlio M. de Oliveira, partner of the Indirect Taxes and Tax Litigation areas, and Mauri Bórnia, partner of Indirect Taxes, will present the lecture “ICMS Tax Substitution: New Challenges and Perspectives”, at the German-Brazilian Chamber, in São Paulo.
The event will discuss the legal, commercial and economic aspects of the effects of the ICMS tax substitution regime on corporate transactions, especially regarding the effects of recent regulatory changes (ICMS Agreement 52/17) and the injunction issued in Direct Action of Unconstitutionality (ADI 5866) proposed by the National Confederation of Industry before the Federal Supreme Court.To participate, click here.
